BBQ Bash Set This Weekend In Wildwood

Shuttle buses are probably your best bet to get to and from the event.

Wildwood's annual BBQ Bash starts its fifth year on Saturday in its usual location at the Wildwood Town Center. The event starts at 10 a.m. and runs through 11 p.m. Saturday, then picks up again Sunday at 10 a.m., closing at 3 p.m.

Presented by the City of Wildwood and St. Louis Home Fires will feature more than 170 booths this year. Here's more details on the BBQ Bash website.

Some details direct from the city of Wildwood:

"While visitors to the BBQ Bash sample their way through award-winning barbeque, they will also be treated to live performances of some of the St Louis area's most popular jazz, blues, funk and brass bands. Bands scheduled to perform this year include Dogtown Allstars, The Jeremiah Johnson Band, the Funky But Brass Band, and the rhythm and praise band Kingdom Brothers."

Fireworks will be launched Saturday evening.
