Recreation Assistant

The Recreation Assistant supports the Eureka Parks and Recreation Department with the planning and organization of community recreation events and programs, including holiday and cooperative events, acts as the day camp director and supervises part-time staff. This position assists the Recreation Supervisor and Recreation Coordinator toward ensuring that Parks and Recreation Department tasks are completed.

Parks and Recreation Maintenance Supervisor

The Parks and Recreation Maintenance Supervisor performs a variety of semi-skilled work activities related to the upkeep and maintenance of Eureka Parks and Recreation Facilities, including The Timbers of Eureka (inside and out), as well as the supervision of part-time staff.  

 

 

Part-Time Employment Opportunities:

Park Maintenance Assistant

The seasonal Park Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for maintenance and repairs for all buildings, grounds and facilities within the Eureka parks system.  Must have the ability to perform skilled and non-skilled physically demanding work as well as operate some machinery and equipment.

 

Field Maintenance Assistant

The seasonal Field Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for maintenance and repairs for all for all athletic fields, grounds and facilities within the Eureka park system.   Must have the ability to perform semi-skilled and skilled physically demanding work as well as operate some machinery and equipment.

 

Timbers Part-Time Supervisor

The supervisor is responsible for various administrative and supervisory duties involving the operations of The Timbers.  This includes supervising staff, working the fitness area, keeping the facility clean, greeting customers, providing an enthusiastic, courteous and timely service service to all patrons of The Timbers.
