POWERS Insurance and Benefits' Employee Earns Industry Recognition

Eureka resident becomes member of select insurance group

Barb Walgren, a Personal Lines Insurance Advisor at POWERS Insurance and Benefits, was recently named a member of State Auto Insurance Companies’ PaceSetter agents. Walgren participated in State Auto’s intensive year-long partnership, which focused on the development of marketing, sales and underwriting expertise. The program highlights a variety of essential industry skills such as technical and sales management training, as well as personal marketing planning for the participant.

POWERS Insurance and Benefits is one of the largest family owned and operated independent insurance agencies in the bi-state region. State Auto markets its personal and business insurance products through more than 23,000 independent insurance agents in approximately 3,400 agencies throughout 33 states.

“This program is for a very select group of agents, and Barb worked extremely hard to attain this membership,” said POWERS Insurance and Benefits’ president JD Powers. “This alliance with State Auto is designed to help Barb deliver an even higher level of risk management expertise to her clients.”
