Woman Suffers 'Medical Event' At Rockwood Valley Middle School
Mary Brown, 63, was waiting in line to pick up a student when she drove down an embankment and into a creek.
WILDWOOD, MO — Police say Mary Brown, a 63-year-old O'Fallon woman, was waiting in line to pick up a student from Rockwood Valley Middle School when she suffered a "medical event" that caused her to drive down an embankment into a creek Monday afternoon.
She was rushed to the hospital by paramedics from the Metro West Fire Protection District. She died shortly after her arrival. Officials say she was the car's only occupant at the time of the crash.
