A 17-year-old from High Ridge was transported to Mercy Jefferson with serious injuries following a two-vehicle accident on Monday.
Scott Rodgers was driving westbound on Hwy H. His car was struck from behind by an unknown vehicle, according to the accident report. Rodgers car ran off the left side of the road and struck a utility pole.
Rodgers was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the report. His passenger, 15-year-old Gabrielle Watson of Robertsville, was transported to Mercy with minor injuries.
