Homebuilding Heats Up at Winter Lake Estates

Sales and construction activity is heating up in Fenton at Winter Lake Estates, which overlooks George Winter Park.

The Alpine model home in the development, which was the former display home, recently sold and is occupied by new residents.

“We are currently finishing the construction of two additional homes in the community," according to Mike Hofmeister, agent for Coldwell Banker Gundaker in a news release. "These homes are sold and will be occupied shortly. We will then have only seven homesites available."

Prospective residents have a choice of six floor plans, two ranch plans with optional atriums, a raised ranch plan, a story-and-a-half plan ands to two-story plans. Floor plans also range from three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths and from 1,880 square feet to 3,904 square feet.

These homes are being built by F&M Development, a custom builder who has constructed more than 600 homes throughout the area.

The Winter Lakes Estates neighborhood features a private three-acre stocked lake with a walking trail, common ground, and streets with sidewalks, benches and gazebos. The development overlooks George Winter Park.
