Hospice volunteers needed. Help make a difference at the end of someones life.
Do you want to make a difference at the end of someone’s life? Med Plus is looking for volunteers like you.
Why volunteer for hospice?
· Volunteers help our patients live as fully as possible. Imagine that you have the ability to help someone who is terminally ill have fulfilling and meaningful days.
· To gain visibility and skills that will help advancement in employment.
· Enhance your resume with practical experience and newly learned skills.
As a volunteer you will have the opportunity to:
· Provide companionship, a listening ear, and practical assistance.
· Befriend patients by sharing hobbies, reading to them, and offering emotional support.
· Enhance the quality of life for patients and their families in their homes or in a facility, such as a nursing home or assisted living facility.
· Assist with administrative tasks in the main office.
· Provide bereavement support to patients families.
