I Want to Come With You!
Waiting patiently for 500 days in foster care, this young, energetic dog needs a family to call his own!
Do you enjoy running, hiking or long walks? If so, I want to come with you! My name is Cairo, and I will have so much fun exercising with you. I promise I will make it fun for you, too! At 18 months old, I am young enough to be fun and entertaining, yet mature enough to have manners! I am house and crate-trained; I even know basic commands. The humans say I am a big goof. I love people so much! I will play fetch for as long as you want.
My foster mom says I am the BEST kind of dog--- A Heinz 57. I think I might be part shepherd and part boxer. At 55 pounds, I am the perfect size, and I have cute Easter Bunny ears! Foster mom says my new family should be dog savvy because I am not the best at taking social cues from other dogs, and I think it's fun to chase cats. For these reasons I need to be the only pet in the home—but I’ve got enough love and energy to keep you happy with just me.
Do you think I could come home with you and stay for the rest of my life? I've been waiting in rescue for such a long time.
