5 Things You Should Know for Valley of Flowers Today

Florissant Patch highlights five things we think you should know before you head out to the 2013 Valley of Flowers Festival.

• When: Friday, May 3 through Sunday, May 5
• Where: James J. Eagan Center, Duchesne Knights of Columbus Grounds, Old Town Florissant, Koch Park and Saint Ferdinand Shrine

1. The annual Valley of Flowers car show opens at 8 a.m. along rue St. Francois.
2. The National Weather Service forecasts a 60 percent chance of showers with a high of 52 degrees.
3. There’s a ton of activities for children throughout the day, including performances and entertainment.
4. Sponsors and other vendors will be available for festival goers will be able to check out their products and services.
