Federation of Catholic Schools Receive $15,000 Gift

The federation will use the money to help with its outreach programs.

The Federation of Catholic Schools, Northeast Deanery received a $15,000 gift from the Koch Foundation recently.

The grant will aid with supplies and materials for the federation’s outreach programs, including the Professional Learning Teams, marketing efforts for the Catholic schools’ open houses, Fine Arts Night, Summer Academy and bus transportation for shared field trips.

“We are grateful to the Koch Foundation for their decision to award this grant in support of our programs,” said Father Mike Henning, pastor of Holy Name of Jesus Parish and pastoral representative for the Federation. “Receiving these funds is not only a great financial help, but also a strong sign that the collaborative work of our North County parishes on behalf of Catholic schools is more widely supported from outside the communities we serve.”
