Ferguson-Florissant Surveying Parental Satisfaction with Schools

The district has opened a survey to parents through the end of the month to assess this school year.

With plans underway to prepare for the 2013-2014 school year in the Ferguson-Florissant School District, parents’ thoughts are being solicited.

Earlier this week, the district released an online survey to find out what worked and what didn’t work in the past school year in regards to their respective school, district spokeswoman Jana Shortt said.

The survey measures parents’ satisfaction from all levels, including classrooms, food service, teachers, security and most importantly, education quality. This is different from the recent community survey, which was an assessment done to better understand the wants and needs of the community from the school district.

The survey will be open until June 28 for parents to respond.

Once complete, the survey results will be presented to administrators, in respect to each school, to study and implement changes as they see fit.
