Florissant Man Charged For 10th DWI

A Florissant man faces drunken driving and a revoked license charge after being arrested Monday, according to a Florissant police news release.

Florissant police pulled over Joseph Arthur Hayes' car Monday morning for a traffic offense. After an initial investigation, the officer arrested Hayes for driving while intoxicated and driving with a revoked license, according to the release.

He has 10 prior convictions of similar offenses, the release said.

Hayes is being held in St. Louis County jail on $100,000 bond.
