Florissant Man Safe Following Jefferson County Car Accident

A Florissant driver avoided injury in a recent collision in Jefferson County last week but not his passenger, according to a Missouri Highway Patrol report.

Juan Rodriguez, 19 of Florissant, backed out of a driveway on Zimmerman Road along Highway 30 when an oncoming car struck the front right of his car.

The oncoming car went to the right side of the road and eventually struck a tree.

Rodriguez’s passenger suffered minor injuries and was taken to St. Clare Hospital in Fenton.

All wore seat belts at the time of the accident, according to the report.
