North County Restaurants Honor Mom with Food, Fun

One of the best gifts a mother could receive this Mother’s Day is a day off from the kitchen.

As many select a place to take mom for brunch or dinner, Patch has rounded up a number of area restaurants planning to host a special meal for the woman in your life. All meals will take place Sunday.

• Yacovelli’s offers its annual Mother’s Day Brunch, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Mothers will have all the food they can eat at this buffet, including an omelet station, salad bar, dessert bar, meat station—featuring prime and roasted turkey—as well as a buffet of muffins, doughnuts and more. For adults, the cost is $21.95 per person, and children between 4 and 10 pay $11.95. Sales tax and 18 percent gratuity will be added to each guest’s bill. • DeLeo’s Deli and Café invites moms out for a casual dining experience. The café offers a number of soups, sandwiches and salads, and dining moms can enjoy a performance by Quentin Felton between 1 and 3 p.m. Each mom also gets a chocolate chip cookie with ice cream when they mention the Facebook promotion.
• Hendel’s Market Café in Florissant will also offer a brunch buffet, 10 a.m.- 2 p.m., according to its website. Customers can also make a dinner reservation for the evening. For the buffet, the cost is $17.95 for adults and $7.95 for kids. For more information on either meal, call 314-837-2304.
• Patrick’s Bar and Grill in Maryland Heights also has a lofty brunch menu for moms and their families to enjoy. From shrimp creole to carved sirloin roast to basic scrambled eggs, the restaurant offers a number of items on its buffet. It will also have a special evening buffet menu featuring shrimp and prime rib. Both buffets cost $28.95 per adult and $8.95 for children 10 and under. The brunch buffet is 9 a.m.-3 p.m., and the dinner buffet starts at 4 p.m. and ends at 8 p.m. Reservations are being accepted for both.
• Syberg’s on Dorsett will host its Mother’s Day Brunch, 10 a.m.- 2p.m. The buffet boasts Syberg’s Wings, salads, ham and more. The cost is $18.99 for adults and $10.99 for kids between the ages of 5 and 10. Reservations are welcome and can be made by calling, 314-785-0481.
