Florissant Woman's Body Found Floating in Mississippi River

A Florissant woman’s body was discovered Monday morning in the Mississippi River after she fell off a ferry boat Friday, according to a St. Louis Post-Dispatch report.

Missouri Highway Patrol identified the woman as Lynn Watson, 60, of Florissant.

A recreational boater found the body floating in the water south of the old Chain of Rocks Bridge, and fire crews later pulled her from the river upon their arrival, according to the article.

Watson fell from a boat, which was operated by Golden Eagle Ferry, Friday afternoon.
