Free Vision Screenings for Area 1-5 Year Olds Tuesday
The comprehensive vision screening is only for children who live in the Ferguson-Florissant School District's boundaries.

The Ferguson-Florissant School District’s Parents as Teachers program in partnership with the Missouri Lion’s Club will offer a free comprehensive vision screening for toddlers and children heading into kindergarten.
Those children must live in the district.
The screenings are first come, first serve. They begin at 6:30 p.m., on Tuesday, Sept. 17. The event is one hour long and will take place at the James J. Egan Center, Rooms A & B. The center is located at #1 James J. Egan Drive.

Parents as Teachers will also have a story time at the center while children wait. The reading event will take place from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.
The Parents as Teachers program also offers home visits with parent educators. The visits afford parents an opportunity to learn about age appropriate child development information and activities for their children, and provides annual developmental screenings, as well as locating community resources for children in need.
