Police: Florissant Man Shoots, Kills in Argument Over Woman
Dale Hayes has been charged with second-degree murder and armed criminal action.

A Florissant man has been charged with second-degree murder and armed criminal action following a shooting early Saturday morning.
Dale Hayes, 25 of Florissant, and Simeon Brown, 31, had an argument over a woman early Saturday morning in the 3200 block of Cross Keys Drive, according to a Florissant police press release. The argument escalated and led to Brown being shot twice.
He was later pronounced dead at the scene.
After an investigation of the scene, Hayes, who remained there, was arrested by investigators and later confessed to the shooting, according to the release.
He has been charged with second-degree murder and armed criminal action. He's being held in St. Louis County jail on a $250,000 bond.
