Watch: Florissant Teen Wows Judges On The Voice
I think you are the best vocalist that has auditioned this year," judge Blake Shelton told her.
FLORISSANT, MO — A Florissant teenager wowed judges on an upcoming episode of NBC's The Voice. The episode will air next Monday, but 13-year-old Kennedy Holmes' blind audition — in which all four judges turned to watch her performance with stunned looks on their faces — is already generating buzz online.
"Come on, kid," her father whispers just before before Holmes begins singing. By the end of her performance, he's in tears.
"Thank you for coming to the voice because our ratings are going to shoot through the roof this season," judge Blake Shelton tells Holmes. "I think you are the best vocalist that has auditioned this year."

Later in the video, Holmes sings an impromptu duet with judge Jennifer Hudson. "I've dreamed to sing with you," Holmes tells Hudson — "I'm ready," Hudson responds.
