With the first day of school right around the corner, we’re helping parents and guardians get ready.
Here’s a rundown of helpful facts and tips to get you started in the 2013-2014 school year.
- The first day of school is Aug. 12.
- With the latest numbers from the Cooperating School District of St. Louis, the Hazelwood School District will welcome more than 280 students from Riverview Gardens and Normandy school districts.

- School starts bright and early Monday with elementary schools starting at 8:50 a.m., middle schools at 8:10 a.m. and high schools at 7:25 a.m.
