Christmas Tree Shopping In The Hazelwood Area? Find Local Farms
Many local Christmas tree providers are taking precautions amid the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure you and your family have a happy holiday.
Hazelwood, MO — As the ongoing coronavirus pandemic threatens a long list of 2020’s iconic holiday traditions, it could still be possible to find the perfect Christmas tree for your family this year — and do it safely.
At least 25 million real Christmas trees are sold each year across America, and currently, 350 million are growing in all 50 U.S. states. During this unprecedented year, Christmas tree lots and choose-and-cut farms nationwide are taking precautions as the coronavirus pandemic worsens to ensure locals can select their perfect tree with minimal risk to their health and safety.
In fact, the National Christmas Tree Association has created a 2020 guide with recommendations and best practices for Christmas tree sellers to follow. The guide advises sellers to frequently sanitize items such as hand saws and tree cart handles, as well as countertops, restrooms and other areas. Special signage and social-distancing rules are also being encouraged.
