Four $1,500 Scholarships Offered by Neighbors Credit Union

St. Louis, MO – At Neighbors Credit Union we know the value of a dollar, but we also know the value of an education. Our 2017 Neighbors Credit Union Scholarship Contest will award four $1,500 scholarships in honor of our four previous board members: Clarence Hagemann, Harry Sommers, Lynn Beckwith, and Adell Allen. These board members gave their time to provide community service for all the members of the credit union for many years.

This contest is open to all Neighbors Credit Union members between the ages of 13 and 19 who will be attending an accredited college or trade school during the autumn of 2017. Being a not-for-profit, Neighbors Credit Union continually seeks ways to help our members, as well as the community. Service in the community requires commitment. Our previous Broad Members have been great leaders not only for the credit union but in the community as well. Therefore, applicants are asked to describe how they have demonstrated leadership ability in their school, work, or community.

An application, along with the requirements and rules for the Neighbors Credit Union Scholarship can be found on the Neighbors Credit Union website at www.NeighborsCU.org. All entries must be to Neighbors Credit Union by 5:00 pm (Central Standard Time) on March 31, 2017. Entries can be dropped off at any Neighbors Credit Union branch location or mailed to: Neighbors Credit Union, Attn: Marketing, 6300 S. Lindbergh Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63123.
