Matthew Robinson Will Be Hazelwood's Next Mayor

Diane Livingston and Elizabeth Rachel also won seats on the Hazelwood School Board

HAZELWOOD, MO — Matthew Robinson will be Hazelwood's next mayor, winning 63 percent of the vote in Tuesday's election. Diane Livingston and Elizabeth Rachel have both gained seats on the Hazelwood School Board, winning 32 percent and 30 percent of the vote, respectively.

As of 7:00 p.m., when the polls closed, countywide turnout was at about 13.4 percent, according to the St. Louis County Board of Elections.

Jeffrey M. Chaney and Matthew G. Robinson are faced off tonight to become Hazelwood's next mayor.

Four candidates competed for seats on the Hazelwood School Board: retired math teacher Diane Livingston; Elizabeth A. Rachel, a stay-at-home mom; retired research and development director Richard A. Roberts; and health education coordinator for BJC HealthCare Desiree D. Witlock.
