Hazelwood Central High School student selected as 2016 Bank of America Student Leader
HCHS student Nick Rosario selected as part of the 2016 Bank of America Student Leaders Program

Hazelwood Central High School student Nick Rosario is one of five St. Louis-area teens selected to be part of the 2016 Bank of America Student Leaders program this summer. The program awards the students a paid, eight-week summer internship at a local nonprofit and a trip to Washington, D.C. to participate in the Bank of America Student Leadership Summit.
Nick is active in the community through Boy Scouts of America, and participated in its National Youth Leadership Training program, which has fortified his leadership abilities. At the age of 14, Nick earned Eagle Scout, the highest rank in the Boy Scouts. Also passionate about technology, Nick serves as captain of HCHS robotics team. In his efforts to give back to the community, Nick has volunteered more than 50 hours at SSM DePaul Heath Information Systems Department, assisting with the hospital's computer needs. In the future, Nick aspires to obtain a master’s degree in information systems and cybersecurity, allowing him to get a job working as an Information Technology Director.
As part of the Bank of America Student Leaders program, Nick received a paid eight-week internship. Nick is interning at GlobalHack. The internships provide students with valuable work experience while also supporting the nonprofits with extra help this summer.
