Hazelwood Man Sentenced in Domino's Pizza Delivery Driver Robbery

Richard Whitehead dressed like Spiderman and robbed a driver in November of last year.

A 32-year-old Hazelwood man is heading to jail for robbing a Domino's Pizza delivery driver in unincorporated St. Louis County in November 2012. See: Man Wearing Spider-Man Mask Robs Pizza Delivery Man

The St. Louis County Police Department said Richard Whitehead dressed in a Spiderman mask and took two pizzas, along with money from the delivery driver in the 1500 block of Marbella around 11:20 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012.

Whitehead did not injure the delivery driver, and police eventually arrested and charged him for the robbery.

He was sentenced to 10 years in prison for first-degree robbery and three years for armed criminal action. The sentences will run concurrently.
