UPDATED: Woman Died from Self-Inflicted Gunshot Wound
The woman was found lying on an apartment floor with a shotgun wound to the chest, police said.

Hazelwood police discovered a woman dead in her apartment early Friday morning, according to a department release.
The woman was found dead on her living room floor from a shotgun wound to the chest in the 5300 block of Knollwood Parkway. Police later ruled that it was a suicide with a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Police had responded to a call in regards to a mental health crisis when they found the woman.
No other information has been released at this time.
