The concert will take place on Sat., Aug. 31, at Harry S. Truman Park, located at 7029 Howdershell Road. It will begin at 7 p.m. Come enjoy the Woo Daddies.

Woo Daddies will be the finale concert for Hazelwood's 2013 free summer music series.

The concert will take place on Sat., Aug. 31, at Harry S. Truman Park, located at 7029 Howdershell Road. It will begin at 7 p.m.

The band describes itself as a "foot-stompin' rockabilly" sound  that plans to blow away the crowd at this outdoor summer concert. The Woo Daddies is a 3-person band featuring Dustin Hawkins on guitar/vocals, Mike Dutton on doghouse bass, and Mike Myerly on drums. Their band also plays swing music, jazz standards, country and pop. The best way to describe it would be to think of Chuck Berry; Johnny Cash; The Stray Cats; Black Keys; Gene Vincent; Fabulous Thunderbirds; Hank Williams, Sr.; Elvis Presley; Roy Orbison; Wanda Jackson; Deke Dickerson; The Beatles; Bill Haley; Rev. Horton Heat; Eric Clapton; The Ventures; Big Sandy and Willie Nelson all mixed into one.
