North County Shooting And Crash Leaves One Dead, Two Injured

BERKELEY, MO — One person is dead and two others inured after a shooting and car crash in Berkeley, Missouri, a north St. Louis County suburb, Sunday night. Police say one or more shooters opened fire at a moving vehicle in the 8000 block of airport road around 11:30 a.m. The victims' car was later discovered crashed in the 6300 block of Jefferson Avenue, a nearby residential side street.
One person was dead at the scene from gunshot wounds and injuries suffered in the crash. Two others were taken to a hospital. Police said one had also suffered gunshot wounds and both had been injured in the crash.
