White Birch Bay Aquatic Facility Opens May 29

White Birch Bay Aquatic Facility will be opening May 29! This year's offerings include:

• Normal operation and hours of the facility: Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 6 pm.
• Hazelwood Sharks Swim Team will have 3 age groups and will meet Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. There will be 4 swim meets for the Sharks Swim Team and those will be based off of the meet schedule set by the Swim League.
  • Ages 14 through 18 will meet from 7 to 8 am.
  • Ages 10 through 13 will meet from 8 to 8:45 am
  • Ages 9 and under will meet from 8:45 to 9:15 am.
• Swim Lessons will be Monday through Thursday, starting at 9:30 am and ending at noon. Please see the Parks and Recreation registration site for specific lesson details.
• For those over 21 years of age, Adult Leisure Swim will be Monday through Friday from noon to 1:30 pm.
• River Walking is Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:15 to 7 pm.
• Aqua Bootcamp is Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:15 to 8 pm.

Unlike last year, the restrictions on capacity have been lifted and online reservations are no longer needed for the 2021 season. Additionally, admissions will accept cash or card. Due to a lifeguard shortage, the City will not be able to rent out the pergola, indoor room, and the pavilion.
