Columbus Park Resident Surprised with Scholarship to WGU Missouri
Maggie Van Meter was awarded a $2,500 Priority Applicant Scholarship to the fully online, nonprofit university

Columbus Park resident Maggie Van Meter was recently surprised with a $2,500 Priority Applicant Scholarship to WGU Missouri. The scholarship is open to new WGU students and returning WGU graduates who are ready to elevate their career with an accredited bachelor’s or master’s degree.
Van Meter, an organizational development coordinator for Children’s Mercy Hospital, is pursuing a Master of Science in Management and Leadership from WGU Missouri. She was virtually presented with the scholarship on November 5 by WGU Strategic Partnerships Manager John Hardin.
