The Grantham Gives Back program combines volunteerism, donation drives and an employee-funded grant program that enriches the lives of the most vulnerable in Kansas City. The last grant round, which ended in February, awarded 10 winners with $3,000 each and one winner with $2,350.
“Since our founding 70 years ago, Grantham has strived to provide a culture of service and giving back both internally and externally,” said Lindsay Bridgeman, interim president of Grantham University. “Thanks to the generosity of our employees, we are able to help local organizations provide food, housing, education and emotional support to Kansas City area residents.”
