Meet Eli

Eli is a 9-year-old Australian shepherd available for adoption through the St. Louis Senior Dog Project.

Eli and his three dog companions found themselves homeless after their former owner passed away of cancer.

Fortunately, Eli and his three companions found foster homes with St. Louis Senior Dog Project and they are now looking for a second chance at a forever home.

Eli has a sweet face and even sweeter personality. He enjoys spending time with humans and gets along with everyone. In addition, although Eli wouldn't tell you himself, he has a secret weapon: his fluffyness! He is a perfect mixture of softness and great for cuddling and he would love to give you a hug to prove it.

If you would like to meet Eli or our other adoptable dogs stop by the Kirkwood Petco Saturday or Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Meet Oreo

Oreo is a beautiful 5-year-old toy poodle who weighs 10 pounds. She just loves to sit on her foster Mom's lap all day and snuggle. She is calm and quiet.  This little girl is looking for her own forever home and lap of her own.

Our mission is to place older dogs in the loving homes of older people in the St Louis area. We do, however, take in dogs of all ages and adopt to people of all ages. We do home visits and ask for a $200 adoption donation for adult dogs and $300 for puppies.
