Northwest High Bomb Threat: All Clear Called
Police have finished searching the building, finding no bombs, and have one student in custody.

UPDATE 8:50 p.m.: Jefferson County Sheriff Dave Marshak said Northwest High School has been give the all clear after police finished a search with a bomb-sniffing dog.

UPDATE 1:49 p.m.: An 18-year-old is in custody after Northwest High School was evacuated Wednesday over a bomb threat. Police are continuing to search the school with a bomb-sniffing dog, according to Sheriff Dave Marshak.

CEDAR HILL, MO — A Jefferson County high school is on edge after a bomb threat caused an evacuation in the school, according to reports. Police have canine units on site and are searching the building.
FOX2 reported that the parents of Northwest High School have been notified of the bomb threat.

Students and teachers were forced to the football field, according to KMOV.
Two students at the school, which is at 6005 Cedar Hill Road, told administrators they heard a student make the threat, KMOV reported.
