Country Club Not Responsible For Stray Golf Balls
The Westborough Country Club says it's not responsible for a stray golf club that allegedly struck a passing motorist's car, police say.

The following information was provided by the Glendale Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

June 20:
At 7:14 p.m., a driver reported his vehicle was struck by a stray golf ball from the Westborough Country Club while he was driving eastbound on W. Lockwood towards Berry Road. The reporting party contacted the club manager who advised the country club was not responsible for errant golf balls from players on its course.

June 22:
At 3 p.m., a resident of the unit block of Moreland Avenue reported the theft of a GPS unit from his unlocked vehicle sometime overnight.
