Retriever and Shih Tzu Looking for Homes
Meet our Adoptable Pets of the Week, Keno and Crackers.
Meet Keno
Keno is an 8 year old flat coated retriever mix available for adoption through the St. Louis Senior Dog Project.
Keno is sure a happy boy these days! He was found as a stray dog in St. Charles County on October 2012. He was taken to a shelter and he spent a few months there, he is now with the St. Louis Senior Dog Project and thriving in a foster home and very happy to have a temporary home.

Although you may think that Keno is an old guy now that he is 8 years old he is still very much young at heart and otherwise! He loves going out for walks and playing with his dog toys. Keno is housebroken and knows basic commands, but most importantly his foster mom would like everyone to know that Keno is GORGEOUS! And he would make a great addition to any family!
If you would like to meet Keno or other adoptable dogs please stop by the Kirkwood Petco this weekend from 11am to 3pm.

Thank you to the St. Louis Senior Dog Project for introducing us to Keno.
Meet Crackers
Crackers is a beautiful 7 year old shih tzu whose tail never stops wagging. She is a happy and friendly girl and just needs her own forever home. She sleeps quietly all night in a xpen in the bedroom. She needs someone who is willing to teach her about potty training and walking onleash. Crackers came from a breeding facility and she now deserves to spend the rest of her life getting lots of attention and lovin'.
Our mission is to place older dogs in the loving homes of older people in the St Louis area. We do, however, take in dogs of all ages and adopt to people of all ages. We do home visits and ask for a $200 adoption donation for adult dogs and $300 for puppies.
We are at the Kirkwood Petco every Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm. This store is located on Lindbergh just north of I-44. Turn left at the first major stoplight.
