Crime Log: Driver Uninjured After SUV Leaves Roadway

Weekly incidents from the Kirkwood Police Department.

Monday, Jan. 7

  • At 2:51 p.m., police were summoned to the 500 block of South Elliott for a report of theft. The victim reported having a small amount of change stolen from an unlocked vehicle. 

Thursday, Jan. 10

  • At 11:43 a.m., a resident from the 100 block of Brent in Oakland reported property damage to police. A vehicle at the residence had a windshield broken sometime during the previous weekend.

  • At 3:52 a.m., officers were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident near the intersection of Lindeman and Lynkirk. An SUV left the roadway and first struck a street sign and then a tree. The driver was uninjured.
  • At 4:05 p.m., police responded to a business in the 11100 block of Manchester for a theft report. An employee of the business had a wallet containing credit and debit cards stolen from her purse while working.  The employee discovered the theft after discovering her wallet missing and reviewing surveillance video at the business.
