Friends, Food, Fun and Fellowship in Meacham Park

An end-of-summer Get-Together with friends and neighbors.

Kirkwood, MO ---Friends, family, food and fun -- these are the best words to describe an end of summer Get-Together, and Kirkwood Road Christian Church (KRCC) with neighbors in Meacham Park added "Fellowship" to that list at their recent gathering at Meacham Memorial Park.

For the past five years, KRCC hosts a cookout for their friends and neightbors in Meacham Park. When Glenn Hart, Senior Pastor at KRCC, was asked how this tradition began, Hart explained, "Our mission is 'Love-Build-Reach and Repeat.' Hosting a BBQ with our neighbors in Meacham Park is a great way to honor our mission -- and say 'Thank you' to the Meacham Park residents who support our Vacation Bible School, Wednesday Night Youth Service and other outreach events." Hart continued, "We really appreciate the trust and support our Meacham Park neighbors share with us by allowing their children to attend our Vacation Bible School. This BBQ just gives us a way to come together, enjoy a picnic and some Christian music and give thanks for our good friends and neighbors."

Kirkwood Road Christian Church is located on the southwest corner of Essex and Kirkwood Road. If you would like to learn more about the church, please call 314-821-1332 - or join them for any Sunday Worship Service at 10am.
