Hauser Group Wealth Management Launches New Service
Specialized Support Now Available for Financial Caregivers
Hauser Group Wealth Management, an investment portfolio management firm based in Des Peres, Mo., today announced the introduction of its Financial Caregivers Solutions service. The new service is specifically aimed at helping family caregivers who find themselves tasked with managing the finances for an older loved one. While many family caregivers providing support for their mom, dad, or other senior family member can get help with personal grooming, companionship, and other health related issues, it can be particularly daunting to take on the oversight of their loved one’s finances. That’s a challenge Hauser Group hopes to address through the new service offering.
“My father passed away in 2016 after a multi-year battle with Alzheimer’s, and while we had tremendous support from the nursing homes where he spent his final years, it fell on me to take over all of his finances,” notes Mike Hauser, CPA/PFS, a 25-year veteran of the financial services industry. “Even though I’m in the business of managing people’s money, it still took an inordinate amount of time and knowledge to deal with the insurance companies, manage his real estate holdings, navigate the tax laws and communicate with our additional family members.”
Hauser leverages a robust online tool called Wealth Vision that helps financial caregivers see everything that their loved one’s own, all in one place. It is a private and secure, online location where their data is consolidated into one clear picture while providing easy access for other family members to see how that picture is evolving over time. In the wake of his own personal experience, he is now making Wealth Vision available as a stand-alone service to help other families better navigate this difficult chapter in their lives.

Wealth Vision is essentially a personal financial website that Hauser can customize specifically for a family caregiver, giving them the tools to organize and manage their loved one’s finances. It includes options to create budgets, monitor cash flow and keep an eye on the bottom line. Another popular feature is a digital vault where families can store all their important documents, from wills, insurance policies and real estate documents, to trusts and tax returns, and access them anytime, from anywhere. Within this secure location, information on all financial accounts is consolidated and balances are recalculated in real time as the market changes. Access can be provided to other family members to keep them in the loop, a great advantage when families are spread out across the country or around the world. And with a simple keystroke, reports can be printed off to get a clear vision of the complete financial picture.
Hauser is offering a free consultation to families interested in learning more about Wealth Vision and how it may be able to help ease the stress of their financial caregiving. To see a video overview of Wealth Vision, click here.
