January 18th, 2021 is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and the Kirkwood Public Library has compiled a list of children’s picture books and chapter books on Martin Luther King Jr. as well as other activists & the Civil Rights Movement. Madeline Stradal is a Youth Services Librarian for the Kirkwood Public Library. She has been with the library since February 2018. She loves Harry Potter and re-watching The Office, and is very excited to return to her childhood library as an employee.
