Kirkwood Resident Surprised with Scholarship to WGU Missouri

Abigail Chastain was awarded a $7,000 scholarship in honor of the online, nonprofit university's 7th anniversary

Kirkwood resident Abigail Chastain was recently surprised with a $7,000 scholarship to WGU Missouri in honor of the online, nonprofit university’s 7th anniversary.

Chastain, a teacher at Keysor Elementary School in the Kirkwood School District, was virtually presented with the scholarship on July 13 by WGU Missouri Strategic Partnerships Manager Dr. Jim Chandler. Chastain is pursuing a Master of Education in Learning and Technology from WGU Missouri.
