Local Man Wins $10,000 in Hooters Football Drawing

Todd Thrasher of Glendale won $10,000 in a scratch card giveaway promotion by Hooters that was part of the restaurant chain's "Wings on the Fly" promotion around post-season pro football. Thrasher received his prize during a check at the Hooters of Kiener Plaza in St. Louis on Feb. 8.

Thrasher picked up a chicken sandwich and side salad, scratched off the card he received when he got back to the office and found that it had the $10,000 prize.

According to Hooters' news release: "A scratch card was included with each Hooters to-go order through Feb. 3. Each card was a chance to instantly win $10,000 and other great prizes, such as free soft drinks, 10 percent off discount coupons for Hooters merchandise and free appetizers."
