New Garden Center Opening on S. Kirkwood, Replacing Former Business
Roots & Blooms is expected to open March 15; it's replacing the former Urban Roots.
Some of the inventory has yet to arrive and the shop is still being prepared, but come next week, Roots & Blooms is due to open at 915 S. Kirkwood Road.
Owner Jenniffer Elliott noted that the store is planning to open for business on March 15 and is planning a grand opening ceremony on March 22.
The new store — which will offer a mix of trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals for the local area — occupies the same space as the former Urban Roots.

The new store includes a gift shop that will offer displays of flowering and tropical houseplants, colorful pottery, statuary, fountains and garden-inspired gifts.

The store will be open seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
