Police Release Name of Man Struck By Train

Police are investigating an incident Friday, in which a man was struck and killed by an Amtrak train in Webster Groves. 

The medical examiner's office has identified the man as Kyle Atkins, 30, according to Lieutenant Andrew Miller of the Webster Groves Police Department.

Atkins was struck by the train on the Union Pacific track just east of North Gore Avenue at about 4:45 p.m. Friday, according to Miller. Details surrounding the incident are under investigation.
