Michael O'Meara Named Raymond James & Associates Complex Manager of the Year
O'Meara Oversees Operations in Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Southern Illinois
Tash Elwyn, president of Raymond James & Associates (RJA), Private Client Group, announced that Michael O'Meara, Managing Director- Midwest
for Raymond James & Associates, Inc., was named 2016 Complex Manager of the Year. The award was presented at the firm’s annual conference held recently in St. Petersburg, Florida.
O’Meara was recruited to Raymond James 11 years ago to open the first RJA branch in St. Louis. Since that time he has opened four additional offices in his market and been a perennial leader in all metrics of manager performance, particularly in recruiting. Two years ago, O’Meara was asked to take on additional responsibilities and now oversees the Midwest which includes 11 offices in Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa and Southern Illinois.
“Mike is a true student of the business,” said Elwyn. “He stands as a strong advocate for his advisors and all the associates in his offices. He is always looking to create a service-first mentality in his offices, while at the same time focusing on the growth of those under his supervision – his retention of advisors has been outstanding.
