OBSCURITIES

I know an ole fella who speaks in obscurities

intellectual profuse and profound

with a nod to mysticism

cloaked in cynicism

and a few dates in history

for good measure

I too have been accused of being obscure

though neither intellectual or profound

but heavy on speculations laced with sarcasm

and a goodly number of unrelated subjects

So when we happen to meet.....not very often

to exchange opinions

Neither of us understands what the other has said.
