Police Investigating Rash Of Car Thefts
Ladue police said five vehicles were stolen in the last month. All of them were unlocked with the keys inside.

LADUE, MO — A rash of auto thefts in the past month has gotten the attention of the police in Ladue, Fox 2 St. Louis reports. Five vehicles have been stolen in the community over the past, and police are warning residents to keep their cars locked and their keys with them. All of the cars taken were left unlocked with the keys inside, officials said.
The vehicles were found scattered around the area, Fox 2 said:
Police recovered all of the vehicles —three in East St. Louis, one in north St. Louis, and one in north St. Louis County.
"I don't know if you want to call it joyriding, or if you just want to call it getting out from where they were at [police Captain Darin] McClure said.
Police don't know if the thefts are connected, but said stressed that locked cars were not touched. So, remember to lock your cars and keep the keys in a safe place.
