Red Key Realty Surprises Cystic Fibrosis Patient With Fun Day
Red Key Realty Leaders St. Louis treated 14-year-old double-lung transplant patient Kenedy Maze, who suffers from cystic fibrosis, and her mother to a day around St. Louis.

Kenedy Maze is a 14-year-old from Kentucky. She's also a cystic fibrosis patient, KSDK reported, and recently underwent a double-lung transplant at Children's Hospital.
The surgery fell two days before Kenedy's eighth grade formal. She had to watch the event, through Skype, from the Ronald McDonald House in St. Louis, KSDK reported, where she and her family have been staying while she recovers from her surgery.
Frontenac-based Red Key Realty Leaders St. Louis didn't think Kenedy should settle for only watching her formal, so the company planned a surprise for Kenedy and her family on July 26.
Red Key Realty Leaders picked Kenedy and her mother up in their company limousine, said spokeswoman Annemarie Schumacher. The company treated them to lunch in Clayton before whisking them off to a nail salon for manicures and pedicures, and finishing the day with a hair and makeup session in Maplewood. Schumacher said all the services for the day were donated.
Red Key Realty Leaders is connected with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation through one of its top agents, Schumacher said, who has a son that also suffers from the inherited chronic disease. KSDK reports that Kenedy is recovering well from her surgery and is expected to go home in the next couple of weeks.
