For Second Time In School's History, Ladue Goes to State
Ladue defeated Parkway Central last week to move on to the championship.

LADUE, MO — Ladue's Horton Watkins High School defeated Parkway Central 31 to 14 last week to advance to the state championship. This marks only the second time in the school's history the Rams have gone to state. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports what happened Friday night:
Ladue took over at Central’s 39, and six plays later senior defensive end and jumbo package running back Cameron Meeks punched in a 10-yard touchdown to put the Rams up 10.
"We knew we had it. The momentum swayed our way. Our crowd was louder. Everything just changed,” Ladue senior quarterback Jordan Jackson said. "Everybody on the offense was thinking, 'Hold the ball, don’t give them the ball and we’ll win this game.'"
Ladue will play Webb City at the Faurot Field in Columbia, Mo. Nov. 24 at 7:00 p.m. for the class 4 state championship. Read more for the Post-Dispatch.
