Brentwood Boys Hoops: Academic All-State, Defensive Player of the Year
The Eagles had three SCAA 1st Team All-Conference players.

Brentwood boys basketball coach Brad Kern handed out at a recent end of the season basketball gathering.
- Will Erby was voted to the Class 3 All-District Team and SCAA 1st Team All-Conference.
- Karvon Owens was voted to the SCAA 1st Team All-Conference and named the team’s Most Valuable Teammate. Karvon’s 345 career assists place him 4th all-time.
- Rekardo Owens was voted to the SCAA 1st Team All-Conference and named the team’s Defensive Player of the Year. Rekardo also finished his career 5th in steals all-time (174).
- Roland Floyd named SCAA Honorable mention.
- Marc Powells was voted to the SCAA 2nd Team All-Conference.
- Jack Wright was named the team’s Most Improved Player.
- Josh McGehee was named the team’s Most Determined Player.
- Nick Featherston was named to the Academic All-State Team. Nick is just the second Brentwood student-athlete named in the last 10 years. The Academic All-State Team for the 2012-2013 Season is named by the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association.
