GFS (Gordan Food Service), a store that caters to restaurant owners and anyone who wants to buy food in larger quantities, opened its doors in Deer Creek Center on Sunday.
A store manager said the store is similar to a Sam's Club, but no membership is required to shop there. He said they like to say GFS carries the top 3,500 items needed by restaurants.
GFS is located at 3200 Laclede Station Road, near the newly-opened McAlister's. The hours are Monday to Saturday 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday noon to 5 p.m.
