Ryan Hummert Memorial is Coming Soon
The bronze statue will be at the northwest corner of Ryan Hummer Memorial Park.

The city of Maplewood has the funds to build a memorial to Ryan Hummert on a corner of the park named for him. It was previously called Junior High Park.
The memorial is to be a bronze likeness of a firefighter. The city has announced a request for proposals from qualified contractors.
Ryan Hummert was 22 years old when he responded to his first call on July 21, 2008. When the crew arrived to the 7400 block of Zephyr Avenue, a sniper began firing on the firefighters.
